A WRITE-UP ;)

Restless....
Torn between two worlds,
Flesh fighting against spirit,
"His grace is sufficent" they say,
So "where is this grace?" I shout aloud in my heart,
Can he even hear me,
for I am desperately in need of it now,
For I can't go on anymore,
I just can't,
For I will do do one thing and end up doing another,
"His strength is made perfect in weakness" they also say,
If there was anytime I was weak,
It is now,
Where is his Strength?
Tell me!...."where is his strength?"
For I am breaking down,
My heart is weakened,
My Spirit is limping,
So I am restless...till I find my rest in you,
Keeper of my heart,
Let your peacerule my heart,
.......Now and forever more.....

Most times in life's journey we forget that there's only one source of strength and that's from God the one who gives us his grace liberally as a gift.
Most times all we need is just to receive this free gift.
"COME AS YOU ARE, MY BELOVED!"......He says

A LETTER TO LOVE :)

Dear Love, 

In my quest to find You,

I fell in and out of "You",

Like a child learning to climb up a tree house,

My knee got bruised, 

My inner flesh exposed to the wind,

The wind contaminated with lies, hurt violence and deceit,

Leaving my flesh broken.

My trust in you tore further everytime,

But grace was always there like a mother, 

To pull me up to the task.

Time and time again I tried,

the brokenness felt like a part of me,

This time it wasn't just my trust wearing thin,

I was loosing hope faster than I ever imagined,

But just when I thought,

All hope was lost,

You found me.....

Then I realised you were rooted within me,

Just as I was standing on the root of that tree house.

His love gave, so should you!

So 'm reading john 3:16 and unlike usual i'm made to notice something, GOD SO LOVED the world,so HE GAVE...he didn't just love us and down on us from up there and expecting us to live better lives.NO!
because HE LOVED US he GAVE....we notice here that love is not just a feeling but it is necessarily backed up by an action.
    one thing i got to learn about love this week is that, LOVE IS TRULY EXPERIENCED WHEN YOU GIVE AND NOT WHEN YOU RECEIVE. most times when we do sturvs for people whether conciously or unconciously one part of us always wants something back even if it's not something back, at least *a little appreciation* we would say, but getting this understanding makes it all easier if truly you love that person, YOU GIVE!!! (you obviously can't give as much as God gave) but at least show love by giving something, (not necessarily material) and don't jhus keep saying "i love you" around.There are so many "i love you's" hanging in the air....it's time we do something with them. and NOW IS THE TIME!

TRUST IN HIM!

Psalm 11:1 "in the Lord I put my trust..."

So recently so much has been happening, with people around me, with people in my environment, i've just been hearing stories form everywhere, people have not really been smiling.

   But then in the midst of it all, this scripture comes up and 'm like that's true. so i've come to tell someone today that no matter the trial you may be going through now, no mater the situation, no matter the circumstance. please let your story be like david, the psalmist...in God you put your trust, not in anybody or anyone else please for man will definitely fail, no matter the promises made and your strength will so fail you in times you can;t imagine. 

   one thing i know is psalm 5:11 " but let those that put their trust i thee rejoice:
                                                     let them ever shout for joy,

                                                   because thou defendest them;

So you see!,HE'S TOTALLY ON YOUR SIDE DEFENDING YOU...YOU'RE SOO NOT ALONE\!

IT'S MY LIFE!

"when Christ who is our life...."    (colossians 3:4)
so I remembered this song when I was about to post this article, "it's my life, it's my li-ife (3x)"
and people would just sing to it and dance a lot not realizing what's really up.
so I was led to this verse above, and in the previous verse (i.e vs 3) when read you understand that you are dead and your life is hidden in Christ Jesus...you know, just reading this verse may appear normal then further meditation makes you understand what the verse truly depicts.
this verse drives the thought deeper that this life that we live in is truly not ours, for we died and are now raised with him....therefore the attractions and distractions of this world should really not affect us. I believe when we come into deep understanding of vs 1, 2 and 3 we understand that we're as christains are called into the abundant life...where fame, money, women is no longer our priority as regards to our old man,
     So therefore when you're walking on the road and someone stops you and asks "how's life?" you don't reply "my brother, we're just managing" or "well, we thank God" or " well, we all know this life is not fair"..NO, NO and NO!!! our reply should be something like this "well, since Christ is my life, my life is doing exactly how Christ is doing" meaning YOUR LIFE IS FRUITFUL, BLESSED, PROSPEROUS, PLEASING TO GOD, FILLED WITH JOY,SUCCESSFUL  and many more Christ-like attributes. Now if they like let them say your answer is too spiritual, leave them jhor besides last time I checked WE'RE SPIRIT BEINGS WHOSE LIFE IS HID WITH CHRIST IN GOD!

THE INTIMACY THROUGH PRAYER.

You know of recent during my fellowship time, this question just came to me "so why do you think you have to fellowship with me or come worship me?" and you know for a moment I was just silent, was the fellowship time just to fufill all righteousness so that I can say that I prayed for xxx hours today or just to feel like a christain....what really?
      and you know this is a question a majority of us have to ask ourselves.WHY DO WE NEED TO FELLOWSHIP? and you know today after 2 days of not having my proper ellowship time just been there in his presence and i blurted out straight from the heart i said "God you know there's this hole within me that only you can fill, nobody else can do that" and there goes the answer!...we go to him to learn more of him, know more about him and which other way but through prayer and worship.
    You know this phrase that most people use "if prayer doesn't work, try praise"..its sooo wrong because we understand from mark 11:24 that whatever things we ask when we pray, BELIEVING that we RECEIVE them and then we will HAVE them. So you see ther's no 2-way about it.but the problem is, even while we're praying we christains are still thinking, "will God do it or not?" and then he's wondering "then why do you ask?"
   So you see go to him in prayer, ask him so your joy may be full because that's what he wants, Worship him, Praise him, just Surrender yourself in his presence and I promise you a life-time of Joy-overflow!

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?..GOO!!!

So the holy spirit reminded me of Matthew 28 from vs 18;

                       " GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS"
You know how we all write our goals for the year or for the month and we write "lord i want to win xxx number of souls for you this year/this month" and at the end of the year/month you notice that you didn't even go halfway or even a quarter.You know what happens most times is that we forget about the fact that we are  to GO not wait for these people to come and meet us wherever we are.For the Christians of this day I translated this verse as;

                      "MY FRIEND GET OUT OF THAT COMFORT ZONE OF YOURS AND MAKE THE PEOPLE IN DARKNESS COME TO MY LIGHT"
you know that was the way it sounded to me when I read it, I suddenly remembered the number of people I would like to bring into his light this year and well I haven't really gone far...and why??...because of this "where do I go to preach the word" mentality.Thank God all that is no more.

    So my wonderful readers and my brethen...let's not just sit down there and comfort ourselves saying at least I tried and don't use follow-up as an excuse for not making disciples for Christ because if no soul is won then what or who really are we following-up???

P.P --> Lord, i Receive grace to go out and preach your word and make disciples in your name (not making excuses anymore)
